Salem Fall Restaurant Week
By increasing visibility and access to the diverse dining opportunities available within Salem, Ma., Fall Restaurant Week strongly positions Salem into being a sought-after culinary destination for anyone on the North Shore. It is a simple but elegant idea. Participating restaurants provide mouthwatering dining specials assigned to exclusive prix-fixe menus (items may not always be featured on regular menus). This year it takes place from Sunday, December 2 to Thursday, December 6.
According to the Salem Chamber of Commerce, which sponsors the 5-day Fall Restaurant Week event, you can expect “a wide variety of delicious foods – from steak to seafood, American to ethnic, there is something for everyone. Restaurants offer multiple choices for appetizers, entrees as well as desserts.”

Word of Mouth Marketing
Open Table, which partners with more than 100 Restaurant Week events each year, conducted a nationwide survey of Restaurant Week promotions in 2012. It found:
- 87% of diners said they would likely be repeat customers.
- 90% of diners would likely recommend restaurants they had eaten in.
