WOMEN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS INITIATIVE- More than 163 million women have launched businesses across the globe since 2014. You Social Media Managers and Virtual Assistants and your clients are proof. But it has been a struggle, financial and otherwise. To help, Visa has launched a global initiative. “She’s Next, Empowered by Visa,” will support the advancement of women-owned small businesses around the world with shared research, experience and technology.

Through surveys Visa learned that 73% of women entrepreneurs still mark “getting funding” as #1 roadblock. In fact 61% revealed they had to self-fund.

One aspect of project will be to focus on the successful moves millennial women have taken to tackle and overcome money-related challenges. More
