MAIN SLICE

FACEBOOK GROUP MEMBERSHIP REVISION- Why did my group membership growth level suddenly slow down? That is an echoing question this past week in various social media groups. Seems FB made a slight change. Formerly, people could be added to any group “by friends” — even if they might not have any interest in the theme. Now, people can accept or decline the invitation. And in the meantime their names will sit within an “Invited” section and not counted in “Members.” More

SLICE SPECIAL OF THE DAY

AUTOMATION RULE CHANGES PER PLATFORM- Like it or not, automation is on the rise and so is its misuse. 51% of brands are now using some form of marketing automation. And 40% of those others not yet using automation are planning to invest in it in the next 12 months. To defuse potential abuse of retweeting and reposting, there are rule changes at Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. More

SLICE INGREDIENTS

COUNTDOWN STICKERS ON INSTAGRAM- Looking for that something extra to drive sign ups and sales for your client account after your ad has run? Consider countdown stickers on Instagram that invite potential customers to sign up for reminders. And oh yes, you get notified as to who has shown enough interest in your client to want to be reminded of your upcoming event, sale, webinar, etc. More

SLICE ON THE GO

CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS AGAINST AIRLINES- Which carriers are passengers least in love with? What are the most complaints about? BizJournals has details. More
