The person who posted it identified herself as Wanda Maximoff. That is the true name of Marvel super hero the Scarlet Witch.

The Atlantic reports that “Maximoff’s plea has been retweeted more than 22,000 times, and the screenshot, featuring the creepy face of ‘Momo,’ has spread like wildfire across the Internet.”

It is a hoax. But it shows the power of the internet to spread a message. Good or bad. More
