Visa Process Requires Social Media Profile-
The U.S. State Department is now requiring nearly all applicants for U.S. visas to submit their social media usernames, previous email addresse, and phone numbers. This also applies to those who want to come to the U.S. for business or education. No extenuating info yet as to whether as a social media manager coming here you would have to divulge info about every account you ever were an admin on.
“Previously, only applicants who needed additional vetting – such as people who had been to parts of the world controlled by terrorist groups – would need to hand over this data.
But now applicants will have to give up their account names on a list of social media platforms, and also volunteer the details of their accounts on any sites not listed.” – BBC News
